WEBSITE DESIGN
Wensum.net has been designing websites since
1997, for clients in Norfolk and around the UK, plus some abroad
too. We have built up a large portfolio of work, which you can take
a look at via our client portfolio
Our
sites have clear navigation and present your information in an accessible
way, constructed with search engines in mind. We can also include
an alternative text version of your complete site, which will automatically
update itself on-the-fly when changes are made to the main pages
- this takes recent Disability Legislation into account and earns
you brownie points from your site visitors! Take a look at our sister
site at www.text-only.info
for further details.
We
can work from your printed promotional material to provide a consistent
look and feel for your pages, or create a site completely from scratch
- including photography, scanning, copywriting and logo design.
If you're considering new brochures or advertisements, it's often
a good time to include a web design - we regularly work with local
print designers to that end and tie everything in together.
Once
a site is complete, we can undertake to update it for you regularly,
or can provide the means for you to update it yourself (without
the need for a degree in webdesign!). Some clients prefer to use
a database system, which is edited on a local computer and uploaded
to their website - the pages then read the database information
and lay this out accordingly. In all cases, we try to create a design
& maintenance solution which clients are comfortable with and
which works in an efficient way.
Although
our design service is professional, it's cost-effective. Web design
fees start at a very reasonable £100 for the first page and
£50 for subsequent pages and costs can always be kept down
by providing all your site content in electronic format (ie via
email or on CD) so that all we have to do is create the layout from
it. We'll even give you some tips to help you construct the content
- why not contact us to arrange a meeting at the office before you
start?
