get a flavour of their residential care homes. A new company
logo was also provided to compliment this clean 'n' simple site
design. |

WEB
FAKENHAM WEB is a commercial / community site for Fakenham
and the surrounding area. Designed to provide entertainment
and useful facilities for the online community, as a web-outlet
for local businesses and to stimulate general internet-related
interest. Take a look at the Community Forum for an example
of a 'Snitz' messageboard installation.

FAKENHAM
OPTOMETRISTS
The owners wanted to show how they help their clients to look
after their eyes as well as promote the wide range of products
on the retail side of their business. Their website has an
educational slant with diagrams and explanatory text about
the workings of the eye. Colour-coded sections and a JavaScript
menu system help navigate the site. (NB Site soon to
be redesigned and only now features a holding page)

LONDON'S
FOUND RIVERSCAPE
In 1937 The Port of London Authority commissioned a photographic
panorama of both banks of the River Thames from Tower Bridge
to Greenwich to record the dramatic changes to the river bank
in the first years of the 20th century. In 1997 three photographers
set out to repeat the panorama as a millennium project 50 years
on. The resultant book (with a foreword by Ken Livingstone)
was published by Art Books International in May of 2000, sponsored
by Fairview Homes. Developed in conjuction with the designer,
Peter Henley Design

& DISTRICT CHAMBER OF TRADE
The Chamber represents member businesses in the Fakenham area
and provides support and information to the business community
via regular meetings and newsletters. The Chamber's website
now extends this support onto the Internet with online membership
control and, most importantly, a fast-track way for local businesses
to create and edit their own web presence. |

FOCUS
A market leader in binoculars and telescopes with a speciality
for birdwatching. The company have shops all around the UK
and their site now has full secure e-commerce facilities as
well as helpful advice on how to choose equipment. The site
is updated every week and was developed in conjunction with
the designer, Peter Henley Design, to create exactly the same
look and feel as their printed promotional material.

TEFLOTURN
This Norfolk company specialises in the supply of finely-manufactured
parts in thermoplastics and metal. From tiny surgical implants
through to large seals for compressed air equipment. They have
clients across the world and in many fields of industry, including
automotive, food production, construction and medical supply. |
